Filming at Sorbonne Paris

Wiifilm – in a co-production with Le Bureau des Curiosités – was on set to shoot L’Exposée, a short film dedicated to Eunice Newton Foote – the American scientist who discovered the greenhouse effect in the 19th Century. The crew was initially welcomed by the Faculty of Pharmacy in Paris to shoot scientific experimentation scenes in the greenhouse, before welcoming a group of extras/students in an amphitheatre of the Sorbonne. L’Exposée – written and directed by Sonia Delhaye – alternates between contemporary sequences and reenactments of the 19th century. It was also an opportunity to work with costume designer Erwan de Fligué, who plays the character of Eunice’s supportive husband: Elisha Foote.

Wiifilm – en co-production avec Le Bureau de Curiosités – était en tournage dans le cadre de la réalisation du court-métrage consacré à Eunice Newton Foote L’Exposée. L’équipe du film a été accueillie dans un premier temps par la Faculté de Pharmacie de Paris pour y tourner des scènes d’expérimentation scientifique dans la serre, avant d’accueillir un groupe de figurants/étudiants dans un amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne. Le film – écrit et réalisé par la Sonia Delhaye – alterne séquences contemporaines et reconstitutions du 19 ème siècle, l’occasion de travailler avec le costumier Erwan de Fligué qui jouera par ailleurs le personnage de l’époux d’Eunice : Elisha Foote.
